Indiana Pacers mascot Boomer is visiting Greenwood next weekend.
On Aug. 27, the mascot will demonstrate his amazing dunking ability, sign autographs and take pictures at the Greenwood Middle School gym as a fundraiser for the Friends of Greenwood Public Library. The Pacers Fan Van will also be at the event with fun games and giveways.
Tickets are $5 per person with all funds going towards the library lobby renovation project.
The End of Summer SLAM with Boomer will be 1 to 3 p.m. at the middle school.
