The Greenwood Public Library is rewarding summer readers with a free family carnival.
Families are invited to the GPL Family Carnival from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday at the library, 310 S. Meridian St.
The carnival will feature a balloon artist, face painting, free cotton candy, games and crafts for the family, as well as a showing of the Disney classic “Dumbo.”
Summer reading participants were given the opportunity to vote for an upcoming program. Participants chose a carnival, according to a news release from the library.
The event is free and no registration is required.
