INDIANAPOLIS
Brenda L. Hester, 73, of Indianapolis, passed away May 18, 2024. She was born February 8, 1951 in Indianapolis to the late Edward C. and Margaret L. (Pennycuff) Rice. Brenda was a 1969 graduate of Center Grove High School. She married Herschel Ray Hester, Jr., June 27, 1970 and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Brenda was a former member of Fairfield Church of Christ, Fairfield, OH, and a current member of LifePoint Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon at LifePoint Church, 8540 Combs Road, Indianapolis.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Herschel Ray Hester, Jr.; daughters, Anissa L. Hester and Katina R. Markovich (Michael); grandchildren, Michael Markovich, Jr., Timothy Everroad (Aylssa), Robert Everroad, Corinne Markovich, Hannah Markovich (Jordan Bryant), and Nathaniel Markovich; great-grandchildren, Kingstyn, Ledger, Octaviah, Brooklyn, Ava, Chloe, and Daniel; and sister, Linda C. Welter.
