A Halloween party in Nineveh ended early Sunday with the arrest of 12 people, police said.
Police were called to 7322 Millikan Court about 12:30 a.m. Officers could hear loud music coming from the garage and heard people talking about drinking, according to a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report.
The resident told police he thought everyone at the party was older than 21, and he invited officers to look around in the house. They saw someone lying on the couch with another person tending to the first and alcohol sitting on the living room table. When police checked the garage, they found several people dressed in Halloween costumes and a bar set up in the corner, the report said.
Officers began checking identification and giving everyone portable breath tests, the report said. Police are investigating who provided the alcohol, the report said.
