Traffic on a busy Center Grove area road slowed to a crawl after more than 4 inches of snow came down, but the problem seemed to mainly be in Johnson County, and drivers were questioning how such a major road could become such a big mess.

On Friday, Larry Davis moved slowly in traffic along the snow-covered State Road 135 until he crossed the county line, which was freshly plowed and clear.

“It was very slick and mostly tire tracks on it in the right lane. But as soon as you hit north of County Line (Road) it’s clean as a whistle,” he said.
