The owners of a Franklin golf course and club have agreed to a sale.
A group of more than 20 members who own shares in Hillview Country Club have unanimously decided to sell the business to Hillview Holdings, which is owned by Pete Grimmer, Tom Grimmer, Jim Admire and Max Woodbury, according to a statement from the golf course.
Closing on the sale will be as soon as possible, and the operations will continue as-is until the sale is complete.
The sale was necessary after the golf course and club ran into financial struggles due to the sluggish economy. Hillview has also sued a former management company.
