HANOVER

The Franklin College men’s basketball team placed four players in double figures in earning a 74-68 road win against Hanover College in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) opener on Wednesday.

Senior Troy Porter tied his career high with 21 points to lead the Grizzlies. The forward scored 18 points in the first half. He made five of his seven 3-point field goal attempts in the game.

Sophomore Dion Smith recorded his third double-double of the season with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Terry Sargent added 14 points, while senior Bailey Howard scored 13 points.
