Any nightmares Center Grove football players might have experienced Friday night unquestionably starred John Kenny and Austin Roberts.
More than anyone else, they were the two white-uniformed puzzles the Trojans had the most difficulty solving in the long-awaited Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference showdown between these Class 5A semistate duelists of a year ago.

“They did a great job. They made plays and we didn’t. They made stops and we didn’t. They caught balls and we didn’t,” 13th-year Trojans coach Eric Moore said. “It’s a game of inches, you know. A play here and a play there. A game of inches.”
