CLARKSVILLE

Senior quarterback Matthew Wray, one of the state’s leading passers, threw four touchdown passes Friday night to lead Indian Creek to a 41-18 win at Providence.

After making the more than 100-mile trip from Trafalgar to Clarksville, the Braves — who arrived early — boarded buses immediately after the game under the threat of severe thunderstorms approaching the area.

Indian Creek improves to 2-2 with the win.

Junior running back Justin Cochran got things going for the Braves in the first quarter by scoring on a 2-yard run to cap an 11-play, 81-yard drive in 5:07 to make it 7-0.
