Greenwood Christian Academy’s boys basketball team will have to wait another year for its elusive first victory against Indian Creek, thanks to a dominant third quarter Friday night by the host Braves.

Indian Creek used a transition offense and physical defense to outscore the Cougars 19-6 in the period, after Greenwood Christian took a 32-30 halftime lead.

The Braves’ lead swelled to 12 early in the fourth quarter, and they never let the Cougars get closer than seven the rest of the way in a 68-58 victory.
