But it didn’t matter. The Los Angeles Lakers got enough from their other stars, Dwight Howard and Steve Nash, and their role players to make up the difference.
Howard had 20 points and 12 rebounds, and Nash had 15 points and nine assists as the short-handed Lakers stunned the Indiana Pacers 99-93 Friday night in sold-out Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
