CG partners with IU Health for $650,000 to fund Trojan turf

Center Grove schools will get $650,000 from a new partnership with an Indianapolis hospital group, and more than half of that money will pay for new artificial turf for the high school’s football field.

The agreement with Indiana University Health also provides services for Center Grove’s athletes, including athletics trainers, a sports medicine physician who will attend varsity football games and other events, a concussion management program for Center Grove athletes, and a health clinic for Center Grove employees.

IU Health also will have exclusive health care advertising rights on Center Grove’s athletics fields and facilities, according to the contract.
