Four more candidates have filed to be on the primary ballot, including one candidate for a new judge position.

Joe Villanueva, a Republican, will run for judge of Superior Court 4. The new court will open in 2015. Villanueva currently is the chief deputy prosecutor for Johnson County.

Three Republican incumbents filed to keep their elected positions. Prosecutor Brad Cooper, Johnson County Council member Pete Ketchum and White River Township Trustee Mark Messick have filed for office.
