Chili cook-off to aid scholarship fund

Nineveh’s annual chili cook-off and dessert auction to benefit local projects and scholarship funds will be March 1.

Activities will be 5 to 7 p.m. at the Nineveh Fire Station, 844 E. County Road 775S, Nineveh. All-you-can-eat chili, hot dogs, peanut butter sandwiches, dessert and drink are $6 for adults, $4 for children ages 2 to 12.

Individuals and teams can compete for the souvenir 2014 Nineveh Chili Bowl and $25 prize, with recognition also given for best white chili, best presentation and People’s Choice awards.
