The grading scales are changing at three Clark-Pleasant schools next year and will be similar to the scale used at most other Indiana schools.
After a review by the high school principal because of parent complaints, students at Clark-Pleasant Intermediate, Clark-Pleasant Middle School and Whiteland Community High School will be graded on a 10-point-increment grading scale starting next year.
Students at the schools have been graded with a scale requiring them to earn at least 91.5 percent in a class to receive an A-minus. Now, 90 percent or above will equal an A.
