Ivy Tech Corporate College will offer a continuing education course for dental assistants next week.

The three-week, noncredit course will focus on coronal polishing and caries prevention. It runs Monday trough July 14.

Most of the program will be delivered online, with an in-class portion toward the end of the course.

The course is appropriate for dental assistants and current or former graduates of the Ivy Tech-Columbus/Franklin dental assisting program.

Upon completion, students will receive a certificate of compliance. The course provides participants the opportunity to establish didactic, laboratory and clinical competency in coronal polishing and caries prevention.

The cost of the course is $750.
