Color guards at two local high schools finished in the top 10 at weekend invitationals.
The Irish Guard of Greenwood Community High School placed second in preliminary competition at Warren Central High School. The group went on to win first place in the finals.
Center Grove’s world guard placed eighth at Warren Central. The school’s junior varsity guard placed fifth in Class A at Brownsburg High School.
