Andrew Luck, with little more than four total quarters of preseason experience, will officially usher in the post-Peyton Manning era when he makes his regular-season debut Sept. 9 at Chicago.
Impressive in the first three exhibition games, and a non-factor in the fourth, the No. 1 overall pick of the 2012 draft declares himself — and his team — ready for the real thing.
“I think we’re definitely on the right track as an offense, and I feel like we’re personally on the right track,” said Luck, who played only the first series during Thursday night’s 20-16 comeback win against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals.
