They say the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence.
After the hot, dry summer of this year, that adage might have to be retired. The grass isn’t looking so great on either side of the fence this fall.
Given the sluggish economy, unrest in the Middle East, huge budget deficits and all the other problems of the day, grass seed does not seem to be a vital issue.
However, we should all do what we can to improve the world. I have opinions, but not much else, on national and global events. What I can tackle, though, are problems I find right beneath my feet. For now, that would be the large sections of dead grass in our yard.
