I toiled at a number of jobs back in the days when I was working my way through college. Some were pleasant enough, and some were fairly miserable.

For a while I worked at the customer service desk of a major department store. It was not a bad job; although, I did get a little weary dealing with irate customers and nodding my head with a serious expression as I followed their litany of complaints.

Without a doubt my favorite part of that job, the assignment I remember with great fondness, was that of gift wrapper.
