Every May we hear Jim Nabors sing it, and goosebumps are felt by Hoosiers and non-Hoosiers around the world.

For a few moments, everyone is “back home again in Indiana.”

Perhaps no tune is more identified with a state and a sporting event, save “My Old Kentucky Home” and the Kentucky Derby.

But “Back Home Again in Indiana” is not the state song.
