I want to be the first to wish you all a happy 251st day of the year. And just a reminder: If you made any New Year’s resolutions, you have only 114 days until you complete the 2012 ones and make a new 2013 list.
Personally (and here’s a good time-saving tip for all of you motivated Saturday readers), I just pull up a copy of my resolutions on Dec. 31 every year and just add the new year at the end of it — quick, easy and resolved in five seconds or less.
But back to what we’re celebrating — today, Sept. 8.
Although Sept. 22 is the equinox (meaning equal night) and the official start of fall, it’s when we see the leaves start changing color and actually feel the temperatures drop that we believe it’s fall.
