A hot bowl of soup can take the chill off a typical February day.
In Johnson County, it can also help needy families come closer to owning their own houses.
Local residents are invited to help support Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County through its annual Soup Bowl. More than a dozen varieties, prepared by local restaurants, will be served up in handcrafted bowls created by local artisans.
