The Franklin girls tennis team hosted three schools at the Grizzly Cubs Invitational on Saturday.
Franklin defeated Greensburg 4-1, then got by Batesville by the same score. But in the finale, Roncalli edged the Cubs 3-2. Winning twice on the day was Abby Smith at No. 1 singles and the Cubs’ No. 1 doubles team of Kristen Conoley and Logan Jones. And the No. 2 doubles team of Sarah Jepsen and Ali Rice won all three of their matches. Franklin (11-3) hosts Shelbyville at 5 p.m. Thursday.
