Johnson County Public Library patrons can get their houses ready for Halloween on Thursday with an event at the Clark-Pleasant branch.

Patrons can bring in their pumpkins any time between 6:30 and 8 p.m. to paint and carve jack-o’-lanterns. The library will provide paints and tools.

The decorating event is open to all ages. Registration is not required.

The Clark Pleasant library is at 530 Tracy Road, No. 250, New Whiteland.
