The mountain of meat threatened to topple before two slices of Swiss cheese held it into place. Spicy mustard and lettuce provided the final touches, before a second slice of rye completed the sandwich.
Central Indiana may be more than 1,000 miles away from the Big Apple, but people craving the New York deli experience can still get their pastrami, corned beef, lox and other classic delicatessen staples.
