Department of Labor figures questioned as employment continues to grow

Job seekers could have an easier time finding work this year as local officials and experts expect to see slow, steady improvement in unemployment.

Businesses will continue to grow and add positions, which will lead to slow decreases in the unemployment rate, experts said.

The county’s business recruitment leader said she has heard from companies that want to expand, some that want to add a handful of jobs and others that want to add more.
