Shrill arguments won’t solve the problems Indiana faces. Clever slogans won’t help us seize opportunities. And partisan potshots won’t point us toward the people best equipped to lead us. Instead, solutions, opportunities and leadership will emerge from meaningful conversations.

That’s why the Indiana University Public Policy Institute recently had the Policy Choices for Indiana’s Future Gubernatorial Forum at IUPUI, and why we are so delighted with the outcome. The Forum featured Indiana’s three gubernatorial candidates engaging one after the other in 25-minute conversations about key issues affecting Indiana’s future.
