Dining out earns money for tutoring program

This month, going out to eat at Bob Evans restaurant in Franklin can benefit a Franklin community schools tutoring program.

Every Thursday in September customers at the Franklin Bob Evans, 900 N. Morton St., can donate 15 percent of their bills to the Franklin Education Connection. A new flier is required each time you dine. The offer is valid from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. for dine-in or carry-out meals.

Franklin Education Connection helps students in Franklin Community Schools through Study Connection, a homework/mentoring program, and the foundation, which provides grants to teachers and schools.
