Downtown Franklin street to close until autumn

A section of one of the main roads leading to downtown Franklin will be closed off for months, starting Wednesday morning.
Workers will close Main Street, north of Madison Street up to Martin Place, starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Franklin street commissioner Rob Collins said.
The street is roads are expected to remain closed until late November or the middle of December, when the project should be complete, Collins said.
