But they can be a chore and an expense to maintain.
Franklin is setting goals for development in the city during the next 10 years, and revitalizing and maintaining the city’s oldest neighborhoods is one of the city’s top three priorities. Some homeowners already do that on their own. But the city is considering adding programs to help more homeowners make repairs and maintain their homes, especially residents who can’t afford the costs or can’t do the work.
