No charges will be filed against the woman involved in a crash that killed two Indianapolis EMS workers last month.
The Marion County Prosecutor’s Office reviewed the evidence and won’t charge Jade Hammer, 21, of Indianapolis, according to a news release.
Hammer was driving west on St. Clair Street in Indianapolis about 3:30 a.m. Feb. 16 when she drove through a flashing red light and hit an ambulance being driven south on Senate Avenue. EMT Tim McCormick, 24, of Greenwood, and paramedic Cody Medley, 22, of Indianapolis, both suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
