Financial literacy class Wednesday in Columbus

Ivy Tech Community College and Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus will host a financial literacy program Wednesday in Columbus.

The program is for students, faculty, staff and the public. The class is from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in room 2205 of the Columbus Learning Center, 4555 Central Ave.

Topics include credit cards, credit ratings, savings, debt management and loans.

Residents are invited to stay after the program to speak with a financial adviser.

The presenter is Anne Fischer from USA Funds, a nonprofit corporation.
