Every day, two Franklin seniors log on to news sites such as CNN and Politico to read news coverage about next month’s election.

Olivia Daily and Alex Stucker have been following the presidential campaign for months; and while they say they’re tired of negative campaign ads, they make time to read news stories about the candidates, breakdowns of polling numbers and play-by-play from debates.

Center Grove senior Ryan Stoner looked up issues he wanted to know more about, such as health care, as the two candidates debated their stances on the topic.

While their days are filled with classes, extracurricular clubs and work, many local students also are taking time to learn more about the candidates they’ll be asked to choose between next month.
