Flower sale to benefit 4-H members, activities

The Johnson County 4-H Horse and Pony Club flower sale will be May 11.

The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Heartland Community Bank, 420 N. Morton St., Franklin.

Proceeds from the sale will directly benefit activities and youth involved in the club. Cash or checks will be accepted.

Flowers for sale include: geraniums, which are $25 for a flat of 18 or $1.50 for each 3-inch pot; hanging baskets, which cost $18 each; bedding plants, which are $15 per flat of 48; and wave petunias, which cost $3 each for a 4-inch pot.
