WOMEN’S TENNIS
Franklin College’s Melissa Sanders, who led the Grizzlies into first place in the HCAC standings during the weekend, has been named the league’s Women’s Tennis Player of the Week.
The freshman finished the week 2-0 at No. 2 singles and 3-0 at No. 1 doubles as the Grizzlies defeated Manchester, Bluffton and previously unbeaten Rose-Hulman.
Franklin (8-1, 5-0 HCAC) will play Hanover and Anderson in conference action this week.
