Christopher Shaff, Franklin College head athletic trainer, has been honored as the 2013 Athletic Trainer of the Year in the college/university division by the Indiana Athletic Trainers Association. He will receive his award this month at a banquet in Indianapolis.
He is also an adjunct professor and instructor at Franklin College. He provides athletic training services to all student-athletes but primarily covers football, men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s golf and baseball.
Shaff received his Master of Arts and Liberal Studies with a concentration in sports management in 1999 from Valparaiso University and his Bachelor of Arts with a specialization in athletic training and a minor in fitness from Franklin College in 1996.
