Franklin grad getting chance to start

After playing as a substitute for the first 11 games of his college career, Keenan Wood has earned a place in the starting lineup for the Judson College men’s basketball team (5-9, 2-3).

The freshman, a graduate of Franklin Community High School, has started his team’s past three games, including two last week in which he scored in double-figures.

Judson lost, 65-62, to Roosevelt University and defeated Trinity Christian, 98-89. Wood had 10 points (5 for 14, 0 for 1), three rebounds, two assists and one steal in the loss and 15 points (5 for 5, 1 for 1, 4 for 5), four rebounds, four assists and one steal in the win.
