Bob Hasseman is like most wrestling coaches. He would rather see results than listen to hyperbole.

Now in his 28th season at Franklin Community High School, Hasseman has been around too long and witnessed too much to put a great deal of stock in preseason rankings.

It’s a simple formula, really: What transpires on the mat in February always trumps what’s on paper in December.
