When the annual Franklin’s Got Talent show begins, the skills on display will be as varied as the residents performing them.
An amateur magician might stage illusions and tricks before a ventriloquist and dummy crack groan-inducing jokes. Singers will belt out everything from country to gospel and rock ’n roll.
Cloggers, banjo players and jugglers all have competed in the past.
Franklin’s unique talents will take the stage in search of local fame and a cash prize. Musicians such as Wertz and Bratton will sing rock, country or jazz. Dance troupes will perform choreographed routines to today’s top pop songs.
