GREENSBURG

Franklin football coach Brian Harbin knew what host Greensburg was capable of offensively Friday night but said the Grizzly Cubs could do little to stop it.

The Class 3A Pirates rolled up 305 yards rushing on 52 carries for four touchdowns to beat Class 5A Franklin 31-15 at Greensburg’s Shriver Field.

“Give them credit because they beat us up front,” Harbin said. “They ran the ball right down our throats and didn’t do anything that we didn’t prepare for. I’ve got to do a better job of coaching our football team to get them better prepared.

“That was a very good football team we played tonight, and they’re going to have a good year.”
