A Greenwood musician is among those scheduled to perform in a special Women’s History Month event March 15 at the Jazz Kitchen in Indianapolis.
The event is 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at 5377 N. College Ave., Indianapolis. Tickets are $10.
The group of all-female jazz artists, including clarinetist Shawn Goodman, will perform. The musicians will focus on selections composed by women.
Goodman is an adjunct instructor of clarinet at Butler University and the conductor and president of the Symphonic Youth Orchestra of Greater Indianapolis.
She lives in Greenwood and teaches regularly for Center Grove schools.
