Indiana State Excise Police took records from a Greenwood tax preparation business as part of an investigation into the owners of five restaurants across the state.

Officers took records from the business, which prepared tax returns for the restaurants, and did not make any arrests, said Cpl. Travis Thickstun, spokesman for state excise police.

He declined to comment further on the Greenwood business because the case is still under investigation.

A statement from the business said the firm has not been accused of any wrongdoing and was surprised to learn of the investigation into the owners of the restaurants.
