Greenwood resident arrested after robbery

A Greenwood man was arrested for taking money from a woman and then exposing himself and urinating in a jail cell, and spitting at a correctional officer.

Reginald Whitehead, 23, was arrested on charges of battery, battery with bodily waste, robbery, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and public indecency.

A woman called police around 1 a.m. Friday and told officers a man had taken $10 from her. She told police the man had approached her and asked her for change, and after the woman pulled out some pocket change the man took $10 from her, pushed her to the ground and ran away, a Greenwood Police Department report said.
