The owner of a Greenwood shopping center has filed for bankruptcy, but businesses should not be affected.

Greenwood Crossing, RiverPlace Shops in Fishers and Raceway Market Shops in Indianapolis are commercial rentals managed by Indianapolis-based Centre Properties, which is going through bankruptcy. The company filed for bankruptcy after being unable to pay off loans from Bank of America.

Attorney Paul Deignan, who is representing Centre Properties, said businesses in the strip malls should not be affected by the bankruptcy. If the properties are sold as part of the bankruptcy, the new owner would get the leases and could make changes in the future.
