Police arrested three people after finding heroin and cocaine in a New Whiteland home.
Samantha Kay Best, 22, and Anya Nichole Best, 23, both of 1039 Eastlawn Drive, New Whiteland, and Daniel Edward Fullenkamp, 23, 108 Hillenbrand Ave., Batesville, were arrested on charges of
possession of cocaine, narcotic or methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a restricted syringe.
Police found Anya Best in a car outside the home, and she also was arrested on charges of driving while suspended and maintaining a nuisance.
Police came to the home on Eastlawn Drive at 3:30 p.m. Monday to serve a search warrant. Police declined to release information about what they were looking for at the home.
Inside, officers found cocaine and heroin but found no evidence that any drugs were made or sold there, New Whiteland Town Marshal Ed Stephenson said.
All three were taken to the Johnson County jail. Fullenkamp and Samantha Best were being held on $7,000 bonds. Anya Best was being held on a $21,000 bond.
