But you have kids to feed, soccer and ballet practices to get to, and were hoping to catch even a few minutes of your favorite TV show. So you think, I’ll skip this one and go to the next one.
And that’s the challenge local homeowners associations say they face in getting residents to attend their meetings. At least once per year, usually in the fall or winter, residents who represent their neighbors meet to discuss how to spend the neighborhood association’s money and vote on who will serve on the board.
