Humane Society expands hours for pet food pantry

The Humane Society of Johnson County has expanded its pet food pantry hours.
Pet owners can receive food from noon to 3 p.m. the first and third Monday of each month at the InterChurch Food Pantry, 2900 Graham Road, Suite E, Franklin.
Additional hours are 9 to 11:30 a.m. the second Wednesday of each month at the Refuge Food Pantry, 65 Airport Parkway, Suite 110, Greenwood.
The pet food pantry was created to keep pets in their homes during financially difficult times for their owners.
To donate or for more details on how to start a pet food drive for the humane society, call 535-6626. or stop by the human society at 3827 N. Graham Road, Franklin.
