A teenager serving a 30-year prison sentence for helping his older brother in a deadly Brown County home invasion is facing new charges behind bars.
Blade J. Reed, 17, was charged with a felony Feb. 15 after officials said he created a weapon from part of a fence at the Wabash Valley Correctional Facility.
Another inmate told guards Reed had removed and sharpened a piece of metal from a prison fence and was threatening other offenders with it.
