Indian Creek High School alumnus Mat Murphy is helping with disaster relief efforts in the Philippines.
The 2008 grad is the support services manager for General Baptist International Missions in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
When Mindanao Island was hit with a typhoon in recent months, Murphy began managing the contributions that arrived from churches throughout the Midwest. The donations provided food, drinking water and services.
